The Nokia E72 offers superfast internet connectivity

Pressbox (Press Release) - The Nokia E72 is not only a stylish handset, but also offers an extremely fast internet connection. It is a unit which is aimed at those who require constant connectivity, whether for work or personal reasons and as such provides the required features and functions to ensure that numerous tasks can be performed with ease. The units size is 114 mm x 58 mm wide, whilst at 10 mm thick it is slim line. The unit weighs 128 g in weight and offers an impressive level of technology.





The Nokia E72 is one of a series of smart phones that utilise a CPU. In this case the handset utilises the ARM 11 600 MHz processor in conjunction with the Symbian 9.3 version operating system. In terms of connectivity the unit provides GPRS and EDGE, both of which are class 32 in conjunction with blue tooth and micro USB connections. Internet access is available via its HSDPA and Wi Fi connections with impressive speeds of up to 10.2 Mbps available as well is the opportunity to use Wi Fi hotspots.





Entertainment comes in the form of an MP4/MP3 media player and a stereo FM radio comes with RDS capabilities, whilst a variety of games provide additional means of entertainment. The media player accepts all major audio and video file types whilst the radio offers a wide array of broadcasts. In addition further games are available via download. The GPS function integrated within the unit provides satellite navigation and comes with A-GPS support and Nokia maps 3.0.





The unit itself is reminiscent of a Blackberry in that it offers a display screen above a full QWERTY keyboard. The handset is a 2.3 inch TFT display screen which offers excellent colour reproduction by virtue of its 16 million colour display capabilities. For navigation purposes the unit includes a five way scroll key and an optical track pad.





The handsets 5.0 megapixel camera offers both photographic and video capture options. As a camera it takes good quality photography and also includes auto focus and an LED flash to improve quality of image. In addition the camera takes VGA quality video capture at 15 frames per second as an alternative to photos. The handsets secondary camera offers VGA quality video call functionality.





The Nokia E72 is an impressive handset much like its counterpart the Nokia 6710 Navigator . The unit provides an effective platform to perform a variety of tasks, with the added benefit of the full QWERTY keyboard for text and data entry.
