26th November 2001 – Business Information Provider, PBI Media, announced today the winners of the Unified Comms International Awards 2001, the first international awards ceremony to recognise outstanding achievement and innovation in the hosting, colocation, data centre and wholesale industries. The Unified Comms International Awards, which were the focal point of the UCI Expo event, 13th – 16th November, held at the Austria Centre in Vienna, attracted submissions from, and was attended by leading telecoms companies, as well as new players, in the rapidly evolving colocation business, eager to gain international recognition for their products and services.
The winners of the Unified Comms International Awards 2001 were announced as follows:

Best Innovative Business Model –Underground Secure Data Center Operations

Monnet Awards for outstanding voice QoS – Concert
