LOGICA AND ZAMANO CHALLENGE EXPO VISITORS TO KICK ASS AT PARIS SHOW

Logica, the global solutions firm, and zamano, the leading innovator of mobile Internet technologies announced today that they are teaming up to demonstrate ‘Smart Ass Challenger’, the multiplayer SMS mobile trivia game, at the Mobile Internet Expo 2001 in Paris (Stand A2). Smart Ass Challenger is an exciting and new application that provides visitors with the opportunity to experience interactive multiplayer gaming first hand over SMS.
Smart Ass Challenger is the second release from zamano’s successful M-Ent suite of mobile entertainment products and allows contestants to directly challenge and play against friends, groups of friends or even other players on the leader board. A user simply texts Challenger with the game code followed by the phone numbers of their chosen opponents. Opponents have the choice to refuse or accept the challenge by replying to the SMS. Contestants receive 7 multi-choice questions on various topics of increasing difficulty. The aim of the game is to beat peers or those on the leader board and win their points!
zamano is a premium member of Logica’s Application Provider Programme. The integration of its Smart Ass Challenger application with Logica’s flagship messaging platform, Telepath SMSC, has enabled one of the first SMS ‘challenge’ games on the market.
zamano and Logica will demonstrate Smart Ass Challenger at the Mobile Internet Expo in Paris and visitors will also be invited to take part in a live game. The culmination of each evening is the Smart Ass Showdown in which the top ten point scorers of the day will take part in a sudden death knock out competition via SMS. The winner with the most points will receive an ‘eye opener’ prize.
