Generating Revenue From Cross Network Text Messaging Becomes A Reality With Avoca.
4th December 2001
Avoca Communications today announced the launch of a revenue generating service that operates across all four UK networks and is based on their successful Interactive Text Platform.
Until now it was not possible to generate revenue from SMS campaigns across all the mobile networks. Premium rate service was limited to one network, which meant that only approximately 25% of mobile users could participate. Avoca's service will link seamlessly to all networks and use common short codes to provide a user-friendly cross-network service.
Avoca’s Interactive Text Platform has been successfully running text services for companies such as Capital Radio Group, EMAP Interactive and Meridian Broadcasting. The secure platform, which supports cross media text campaigns including text games, votes and competitions can be viewed over the web and requires no capital investment.
“We have developed a powerful platform that already provides an exceptional service, combined with premium rate text this is an excellent way for our clients to interact with their customers and generate revenue,” Paul Targett, Managing Director, Avoca Communications.
Avoca will launch the service across all four UK networks in February 2002. To see an example of Avoca’s Interactive Text Platform and find out more about generating revenue through text contact Avoca on 020 7793 4197.
