Added: (Mon Oct 17 2005)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Brussels, 13th October 2005 - Endemol Nederland, Talpa and AllisBlue/PressisBlue today announced the start of a special digital magazine for the Dutch version of Big Brother. The magazine is based on the «sms2mail» technology platform, developed by AllisBlue.

The customer will receive the «Big Brother» e-magazine by texting the word BLAD to 3699 in the Netherlands and Belgium. The customer will immediately receive a return sms asking for the new user’s email address after sending the first request. Once this information has been received, the link to the «Big Brother» e-magazine will appear in the customer’s inbox.

Regular sms2mail users whose email address details are registered will have the information sent straight to their mailbox.

Amongst a variety of other topics, the interactive e-magazine contains exclusive information regarding the Big Brother television programme, advertisements, special offers and links to electronic services. The e-magazine offers the user a new interactive point of contact with the advertiser.

Consumer advantages
The innovative link between sms and email offers the consumer access to an extensive interactive content in his own inbox and enables him to pay for (extra) services used via the standard sms tariffs. As a result of sms2mail, the senders now have access to a new marketing instrument, which enables them to interactively load the Big Brother name and quickly and efficiently obtain insight into the user’s needs and preferences.

About AllisBlue, a visionary company : « The mobile telephone = The ultimate remote control for the web ! »

The company’s customer base includes prestigious names like Proximus, Delhaize, Mars, Uncle Ben’s, IBM, Electrabel, Ford, Beiersdorf, Eurostar, AXA, …
Eric Delfosse explains: ”This technology can create a revolution where marketing, advertising and communication practices are concerned, simply by sending a simple SMS message to targeted audiences! The SMS triggers a patented process which sends information to the applicant’s email address in a matter of seconds“. www.allisblue.com
This is a very interesting innovation, as it is a very fast and efficient way of sending personalised information.
This unique model makes it possible to quantify a media plan’s real time results, as well as determine the suitability of the media for the target groups, in order to ensure the effectiveness of a communication campaign is significantly improved! Hence, AllisBlue decided to become a member of FEDMA, the European Federation of Direct Marketing.
