ATX EARNS BUSINESS OF 200 FORMER CUSTOMERS THROUGH "WINBACK" PROGRAM

Pressbox (Press Release) - Bala Cynwyd, PA - October 30, 2001 - ATX, a leading integrated communications provider with approximately 40,000 business customers and 400,000 consumer subscribers, has recently completed the second round of its "WinBack" program, which targets former customers to partner again with ATX. The initial campaign, conducted during the summer of 1999, succeeded in winning back approximately 60 former clients. Since the re-launch of this program this past November, another 140 customers have renewed relationships with ATX as their telecommunications provider.

The 140 customers that have resigned with ATX in the past year represent approximately 300 locations and an estimated $3 million in annual revenue for ATX. The anticipated revenue associated with these accounts is more than double what it was before these customers left ATX. Additionally, the customers who returned to ATX from the first round of the program represent approximately $1.4 million in annual revenue.
