Nothing in the council calendar brings the local community together like having to wear several layers of clothing, eating candy apples and marvelling at the array of fireworks on display.
Pudsey-based business 08 Direct, leading supplier of non geographical numbers and call management solutions, has always supported its local community and bonfire night is no exception. 08 Direct are this year’s main sponsors of Leeds City Council’s bonfire event at Springhead Park, in Rothwell, Leeds. The sponsorship means the bonfire and entertainment will be of the highest standard, letting everyone from the surrounding area enjoy a safe, fun and well-organised event.
Springhead Park is the centre of the local community, offering landscaped formal gardens, picnic areas and a beck for strolling along on sunny afternoons. With 08 Direct’s Chief Executive being a member of the community it seemed only apt that something was given back.
The Bonfire extravaganza with Magic 828 is set to be magical, so head down to Springhead Park on the 5th November and help celebrate one of Britain’s most important historical events, Guy Fawkes being captured after trying to bring down the Houses of Parliament with the unsuccessful Gunpowder Plot.
