Zycko augment SANRAD coverage across EMEA
Added: (Mon Apr 02 2007)
SANRAD extends Zycko’s distribution contract to cover the entire EMEA region, following its continued success with Zycko Germany.
2nd April 2007 - Zycko has been invited to distribute SANRAD’s leading iSCSI SAN technology across the EMEA region.
The successful partnership between SANRAD and Zycko in Germany has prompted the vendor to extend its relationship to allow the Zycko group to distribute across the entire EMEA region as well.
“Zycko is ideally suited to provide product distribution, services and support across all of EMEA,” said David Galton-Fenzi, group sales director at Zycko. “This announcement is proof that the power and foundations of our group strategy is continuing to improve and strengthen.”
SANRAD is the leading iSCSI SAN provider, delivering intelligence at the network layer, empowering hundreds of organisations worldwide to effectively access, share and manage storage across standard Ethernet environments.
SANRAD delivers a new dimension in the continuity and simple management of vital business information by coupling standard IP connectivity with critical network-based storage services. It is also the only iSCSI SAN vendor to create open IP-based SANs that enable continuous data protection, virtualisation, local and long distance replication and effective resource provisioning with unbeatable price/performance.
Paul Jassies, UK and Benelux regional manager at SANRAD, said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to extend our partnership with the Zycko group to include Zycko UK across EMEA.”
“Sales through Zycko Germany have so far been extremely positive and by bringing the UK office on board we will be able to supplement that further and make use of the premier added-value that it is able to provide, such as technical training for VARs through Zycko Academy and associated services.”
SANRAD recently unveiled its new V-Switch 3400 Enterprise Series, which features embedded SANRAD StoragePro software. It is an open, high performance and scalable solution that provides the connectivity and storage management needed to easily attach a large number of new servers to an enterprise FC SAN.
