Added: (Sun Oct 30 2005)

October 29, 2005 - West Palm Beach, FL - Today, Presidential Hopeful Imperato spoke out to congratulate Ross Perot for receiving The George R. Stibitz Award.

The George R. Stibitz Award is presented every year by the American Computer Museum of Bozeman to those groundbreakers who have advanced technological development.

“Being involved in the global telecommunications infrastructure business and understanding technology and its application, I commend Ross Perot and his company for deploying leading solutions for the business community,” said Imperato.

Imperato has been doing business for over 30 years around the world, and has assisted companies like Perot’s with their global expansion plans.

Imperato also took note of Perot’s strength and stamina to create change in America.

Imperato went on to state that he holds Ross Perot in a high regard. Imperato followed Ross Perot’s presidential bid in 1992, and believes that Mr. Perot had a great chance to become the first independent presidential candidate to win an election in the history of the United States of America.

“I would like to reach out to Mr. Perot and his supporters and welcome them to join our team to lead us to win the next presidential election and take where Mr. Perot left off and bring it to the next level,” stated Imperato.

During Perot’s 1992 campaign, Perot spent in excess of $100 million, a record at the time. Imperato felt that Perot showed great business savvy which could have brought stability to our nation.

“It also is clear that in the environment today, as a presidential hopeful for 2008, a candidate must be a man heavily entrenched with knowledge and wisdom of the globe, with good sound business practices,” explained Imperato.

Imperato went on to state that he wasn’t sure if Ross Perot would step up again for the 2008 campaign but went on to say that he’d welcome Ross Perot in the event that he decided to enter the race.
