RANDOMSTORM SECURES NORTHUMBRIAN WATER CONTRACT

RandomStorm, the emerging name in vulnerability management technology has announced a contract to supply Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) with its network security scanning system, xStorm. The system will enable NWL to carry out regular scans of the perimeter of its IT infrastructure and provide an overview of any vulnerability.
NWL is one of the UK’s major utility companies providing water and waste water management services to more than 4 million customers spread between its two operating regions in the North East and South East of England and like most similar organisations NWL has invested heavily in its IT network infrastructure.
RandomStorm’s online security scanning technology xStorm provides IT security managers with a simple means of ensuring that their networks are fully protected. XStorm enables scans to be automatically scheduled as often as necessary and will provide NWL with detailed reports identifying any vulnerability in the system and guidance on how to remediate the problem.
