Quantum Infotech begins ISO Efforts

Quantum Infotech, the Technology consulting and GIS development company, based in Detroit, Michigan, is gearing up for ISO-9001 Certification. Quantum's Indian arm, Landends Solutions, has successfully completed ISO implementation efforts and been certified ISO-9001 compliant by International certification body LRQA. The United Kingdom Accreditation Service, United Kingdom and Register Accreditation Board, United States of America provided the certification for Landends Solutions.
The decision to move ahead with the certification process was made in early September 2000. The process is moving along at excellent speed due to the support and the added efforts of all Quantum employees. Years of following a quality management system, along with listening to and addressing customer needs are making the steps to certification move very smoothly---while maintaining the steady pace to certification. With Quantum's high growth rate in the recent years, and the proposed expansion of existing services and locations, including consulting and GIS, Quantum's top brass realized that the company needed a system to not only standardize but also improve its business processes.
