Power Supply Repair Specialist extends warranty to 12 months

Power Supply Repair and Design specialist Ferrus Power Ltd. based in Peterborough has extended the warranty period for all power supply repairs to 12 months.
Marc Jones, Technical Sales and Service Manager, says ' The decision to extend our warranty period has come about as a result of a recent analysis of all repairs carried out since 2001 when we first started reparing non-Ferrus products.
The analysis clearly shows that, due to the level of workmanship carried out, serviced products are not expected to fail again within 5 years of leaving our service department.
We believe the reason for our success is primarily due to the level of experience gained by our team of service engineers who can further draw upon the experience of our design team for recommendations on maximising future product reliability.
In addition, as a UL controlled design and manufacturing facility, all process' including component sourcing are strictly maintained.
As far as we know no other power supply repair facility in the UK has the confidence in the work carried out by it's engineers to offer such an extended warranty with others typically offering 3 or 6 months only.
The move has already generated major interest from various major UK OEM's as their service departments can now pass on this level of re-assurance to their customers by way of offering extended warranties with their equipment.'
