Pressbox (Press Release) - OK International Will Set New Benchmarks in Fume Extraction performance at Productronica 2005.

OK International will be demonstrating the new MFX-2200 Fume Extraction System at Productronica 2005. A multi-user system designed to support up to eight manual electronics assembly workstations, or to remove particulates and gases from exhaust cabinets and small bench-top wave and reflow soldering equipment.

A 50 per cent improvement in airflow, 300 per cent increase in HEPA filter size and a massive 600 per cent boost in carbon gas filter capacity, are just three of the benefits of OK International’s new MFX-2200 Fume Extraction System (compared with previous generation systems).

Primarily designed to provide filtration for up to eight manual electronics assembly workstations, the system’s improved performance can also be harnessed to remove particulates and gases from exhaust cabinets and even small bench-top wave and reflow soldering ovens.

For general electronics assembly applications, a combined filtration model features pre, HEPA (99.97 per cent efficient @ 0.3µm) and gas filters. For more specific applications, such as removing solvent vapours from bonding and under-fill operations, a gas filtration model is available featuring a pre-filter and 11kg high capacity activated carbon cartridge.
