EPI PARTNER WITH GAMMA GLOBAL TO BRING WORLD CLASS UPS PRODUCTS TO THE IT MARKETPLACE

Witney UK (1st February 2005) - EPI Service Limited, a UK leader in power protection technology and services, and Gamma Global, one of Europe’s leading independent IT distributors, have partnered to supply Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) products and services to meet the needs for the growing demands for reliable power in the IT industry.
“Constant clean power within the IT environment is evidently becoming increasingly critical as IT systems become more consolidated and relied upon by almost all facets of society,” said Simon Gardner, Managing Director of EPI. “There is a diverse set of electrical devices within these IT environments which contribute to an already unreliable mains supply - such as Air conditioning systems. EPI have traditionally recognised as being successful in the large 3 phase UPS systems. After extensive research in to the distribution channel, EPI have decided to partner with Gamma Global to distribute their single-phase UPS products across Europe.
Gamma was chosen ahead of the traditional broad-line distributors in a concerted effort to proactively create brand awareness. Gamma Global are committed to a professional distribution approach and are keen to translate this into increased market share on the EPI brand. More than 50% of Gamma Global’s sales are in markets outside of the UK making them the ideal Pan European partner with an equally strong UK coverage.
