Contract Signing Kicks off Enrollment and Registration System Project for Centro Escolar University

Centro Escolar University, considered as one of the most stable institution in the country, has pursued academic excellence in its course offerings by continuously raising quality standards through working together with Information Managers, Inc. (INFOMAN)

The August 27, 2009 contract signing began the university’s Enrollment and Registration System2 (SEARS) project to be completed by the Information Managers Inc. The agreement for the project was composed of a three-prong solution that includes the supply of IBM servers that will support the university’s critical business applications and web-based services, the supply of the Progress software tools comprising of Progress OpenEdge RDBMS Server and Application Server, Progress Client Networking, and Progress SonicMQ Standard Edition to support the university’s business applications development, deployment, & implementation, and the professional services that includes project management, EARS2/Integrated School System business software customization, and its deployment and implementation in four of the university’s campuses, namely Mendiola in Manila, Buendia in Makati, Legaspi Village in Makati, and Malolos in Bulacan.
