This year, Best Australian Hotels.com will be holding a contest that will give a few good bloggers an opportunity to gain a larger audience by being selected as the best in Australia.
Best Australian Hotels.com is an online travel portal which gives travellers the convenience they deserve from providing comprehensive information on flight, to the travel destination, up to their hotel reservation. This Australian travel portal facilitates the needs of every travellers through a number of Australian travel sources ensuring they don’t have to experience the hassle of hunting for the right sources out of their comfort zone and prefer to keep things simpler.
Starting January 12 to February 11, 2007, Best Australian Hotels.com will be selecting the best Australian blogs from the nominations given by the registrants. To join or nominate the best Australian blogs, email to aussie@directwithhotels.com two three-sentence items, related to the given award titles:

the blog that best promotes the virtues of manhood/womanhood.
Class Clown Award
most humorous blog
The Blog-Attack Award
contains the most number of personal rants
The Great Traveller Award
most informative blog related to travel
Best Designed Blog Award
most creative/best designed blog
Best Aussie Photoblogger Award
contains quality pictures of Australia
Most Mouth-Watering Blog Award
most comprehensive in featuring Australia culinary
Most Techy Blogger Award
most informative blog related to technology, IT, etc.
Most Wanted Blog
most number of votes or nominations regardless of the category
Best Aussie Celebrity Blog Award
blog about the most outstanding Australian celebrity in Hollywood.
Interested applicants should email a description of themselves in 25 words or less. A nominee may then be invited to become a semi-finalist for the blog contest.
Rules:
1.Blogs that use foul language will be disqualified.
2.Judges decision will be final.
3.Best Australian Hotels.com is free to use the content of your blog anywhere on its site. You will be given credit whenever the content is utilized.

The winner will be announced and posted on the homepage of www.bestaustralianhotels.com . He/she will also be given the privilege to post an Aussie Best Blog 2007 logo on his/her blogsite, hyperlinked to the announcement of the winner at Best Australian Hotels.com homepage .
