Aqua Resources Group Launches 'Business Solutions' in Bahrain

Added: (Wed Jan 05 2005)

Aqua Resources Group opened in the Gulf in 2003 to service a growing need for its services in the Banking and Construction sectors. The Group provides recruitment and HR services throughout the region using Bahrain as its base. Aqua sales consultants are working throughout the region delivering recruitment solutions and value added services to its Middle Eastern clients.
In response to demand, Aqua Resources Group has incorporated a new subsidiary company to provide high-level Business Solutions to its Middle Eastern customers, Aqua Business Solutions [Middle East] WLL to be co-located with its recruitment business in Manama, Bahrain.
To support the growing need for Business Continuity Management, Aqua Business Solutions has put together a definitive model for BCM for the region. Aqua has a full warm/hot recovery centre in Bahrain with a targeted capacity of 1,200 recovery positions and is able to offer facilities ranging from document storage to 'state of the art' Real-Time Data Back-Up. Bahrain's position at the heart of the region's financial sector demands that the highest levels of Data Restoration and Business Continuity are available.
Clients rightly demand expert support in both analysis and design, Aqua Business Solutions has partnered with Recovery Management International [RMI]. Roger Clifton-Moore, Managing Director of RMI has been working with Aqua to create the ideal 'Implementation Framework', Roger's background in the heart of London's regulatory system gives RMI and Aqua a 'best practise' approach to this key strategy.
Aqua and RMI are currently in discussion with a number of major institutions to develop a BCM model suited to the Gulf's demanding and fast paced development in the financial sector.
Another huge challenge for the Middle East is that of Smartcard Implementation. As pressure mounts on the region to implement EMV standards and to issue Smart Cards to its banking customers, Aqua is supporting the institutions by providing key consultancy in Implementation Planning, Security Framework Design and Technology Selection.
Aqua Business Solution's CEO, Matt Thompsett says "...the Gulf is moving fast towards high end technical solutions in Banking & Finance, inspired nations like Bahrain are leading the charge. We are absolutely committed to supporting Bahrain, and other progressive Gulf states, in their drive towards World Class solutions for Business Continuity Management and Smart Card implementation..."
To support their infrastructure in the Gulf, Aqua has built a close alliance with CCMI, a Bahraini Company specialising in bringing UK companies into Bahrain. Dr Joe Dunn of CCMI has personally fast tracked Aqua's establishment in Bahrain as well as providing much of the back office infrastructure for Aqua's Business Continuity Management facilities.
