ACTIF’s SCER 1000 freezes out the competition

ACTIF Industries of France, a manufacturer of refrigeration units for the baking, confectionery and catering sectors, has launched an entirely new freezer / deep-freeze to the market – the SCER 1000 – which allows the freezing of small quantities and enables users to avoid any handling after deep-freezing, by combining the two functions in a single unit. ACTIF Industries is looking for distributors for this product.
The top section of the SCER 1000 is the deep-freeze compartment (-35°C, 1/3 of the unit), which takes five plates of 600mm x 800mm spaced in steps of 60mm. The cycle is set in motion by the regulator and, when the cycle ends, the compartment automatically goes back into freezer mode at -22°C. Lower down, the freezer compartment (-22°C, 2/3 of the unit) takes 12 plates of the same size, spaced at equal distances apart.
The SCER 1000 offers the same advantages as the other units in the company’s professional bakery-confectionery range and has identical technical characteristics, which include a ventilated Kuba evaporator, (treated for corrosion resistance); electronic regulation with digital display; hinged, latched doors for solidity and reliability; and short manufacturing deadlines. The product is available in either 304 stainless steel or white lacquer. It is fully compliant with European Union standards. Moreover, the door seals (made of natural rubber) are completely reliable and can be removed without tools for improved hygiene. All the interior angles are rounded.
The SCER 1000 is the latest addition to the company’s range of products – cabinets and counters for chilling and freezing, high-volume deep-freezers, fermentation cabinets, dough-proofing cabinets, double-temperature cabinets, pizza chef units and ambient units.
