femaleSOCCER® the UK's biggest provider of women’s football news, results and websites is celebrating the start of the new season with a record number of team websites.
Since the launch of femaleSOCCER® in March 2003 we now have a record number of
3, 769 women’s football team websites.
Teams that register for the free service mainly come from the UK and Europe, but we also have teams from Australia, America and China.
Laura Stevens, commercial manager of female SOCCER® said, we have the world’s biggest community for women’s football- the UK's fastest growing sport. Not only do we publish the latest women’s football news, our database of mainly female users grows daily, which has become a valuable marketing tool when promoting third party products.
Women are major influencers when making purchases and more are using the internet to do so. Bank Holidays are normally our busiest times.
For the last two seasons we have worked with Leeds based online retailer empiredirect.co.uk who have signed an extension of their current deal for a further two years with Leeds United Ladies. The deal worth over £70,000 is thought to be the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the English women’s game. We aim to offer advertisers a range of solutions from e-mail campaigns, banner adverts, ROS and competitions.
