Scuba divers get a free blogsite as thedeepstop.com makes virtual debut at the london international

Added: (Sun Mar 26 2006)

Scuba divers and underwater enthusiasts can report on the highlights of the London International Dive Show (LIDS) on 1st & 2nd April, by logging into www.thedeepstop.com and claiming their free blogsite.

TheDeepStop.com, a new on-line service, promises a free website for anyone in the underwater community and will be virtually launched at LIDS by the founder Andy Carroll.

In the real world The Deep Stop is well known to SCUBA divers as a resting place on ascent, typically being the first decompression stop. On-line it is a resting place for SCUBA divers and underwater enthusiasts to rest from their web surfing and share their stories and adventures.

Asked why its a virtual launch Andy Carroll said: As everything is on-line, theres nothing to put on a stand, so Im teaming up with several exhibitors and plan to tell as many SCUBA divers and press people as I can!

Andy expects the free website resource to be very popular among the diving community, especially when they discover that he has set the sites up to allow divers to profit from their logs.
