The regionals in Germany will be held over the period of 21st-25th May 2006. Those skilled enough to progress through to the finals in the famous Shaolin Temple in China will get the chance to spar with the orange-robed Shaolin monks of the “Wheel of Life” fame.
There, the judging panel will comprise famous Hollywood stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li and the winners of the competition will be entitled roles in a TV series featuring Shaolin Kung Fu and a Hollywood film “The Legend of the Monk Soldiers”, which describes the Temple monks fighting against invading Japanese during the Ming Dynasty (1386-1644). There will also follow a series of other works.
