Racing Group streamlines websites and wins new business

Pressbox (Press Release) - Northern Racing, one of the UK’s leading horse racing groups, has launched a revamped portfolio of websites, working with KMD Consultants, a Brighton-based web development company (www.kmd2.com).

The Group’s seven courses; Newcastle, Uttoxeter, Bath, Brighton, Hereford, Sedgefield and Great Yarmouth, utilise websites complete with online ticket sales, corporate hospitality information and the latest going and weather details for upcoming fixtures. Chepstow Racecourse, which operates in partnership with Northern Racing, has also adopted the successful format which has been praised for its ease of usability and intuitive navigation.

Each racecourse is able to manage and update key information individually, processing ticket sales, updating fixture information and adding events for example.

The sites were all based on the Brighton Racecourse site developed by KMD which won Best Business Site at the 2001 VF Web Awards.

Rod Street, Managing Director of Northern Racing, commented:
