Pressbox (Press Release) -
There was a new addition to the bag carried by Tiger Woods' caddie Steve Williams during his comeback win at the recent Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Nike Golf's world number one secured a one-stroke victory on the last hole of a final round which he started five shots behind the leader at Bay Hill.
Aiding Woods on his way to a first win since returning from knee surgery were the new Victory Red TW Blades, which are said to be ideal for accuracy and the shaping of shots, lending themselves to the 14-time major winner's game.
According to the man himself: "I like the new VR Blades because of the consistent feel throughout the bag, how good it looks in a playing position and my workability.
"I can shape the ball both ways, change my trajectory, do whatever I need to do to hit the ball closest to the hole and be as efficient as I can throughout the round. That’s ultimately what you want to have happen."
Also utlised by Woods on his way to victory last week in Florida were the Nike SQ DYMO driver and Nike SQ 2 fairway wood.
