NVT Group unveiled as Match Sponsors for Dougie Arnott Testimonial

Added: (Mon Aug 18 2008)

Computing company NVT Group have been unveiled as the match sponsors for Dougie Arnott's testimonial. The Bellshill based IT group's Technical Director Tommy Mitchell was on-hand to assist Dougie with the half-time draw during Motherwell's first home match of the season.

Despite the unwelcome defeat at the hands of Aberdeen, Tommy was delighted to be involved with Arnott's testimonial match on Thursday 11th September against an Old Firm Select.

"Dougie is a true Motherwell legend and a testimonial is long overdue. We're delighted to be involved."

Both men (pictured) were on the pitch at half-time as Dougie was warmly applauded by the 5,000 plus crowd. A free competition was also launched for two fans to win hospitality seats at the match, courtesy of match sponsor NVT Group. Full details of the competition are on the testimonial web site www.dougie-arnott.com.

Dougie and Tommy both looked ahead with excitement to Motherwell's entrance into European competition. "I've already promised my young son Steven that we'll both be heading to Italy if such a dream draw can materialise", said Dougie.

Die-hard Well fan Tommy also relished such a prospect saying, "Whoever we draw will be tough but we shouldn't have any fear. This is a great experience for players and fans alike."

Details of Dougie's testimonial and how fans can win their chance to play in the teams or even manage the Motherwell Select side, can be found at www.dougie-arnott.com.
