Golf Club of Castle Hills Announces North Four Ball Championship Winners

Added: (Mon Mar 03 2008)

Pressbox (Press Release) - The Golf Club of Castle Hills hosted the North Four Ball Championship in Lewisville. Designed by Jay Morrish, The Golf Club at Castle Hills is a 7,245-yard championship course designed to fully compliment the land with streams, lakes and 60-foot elevation changes.

The Golf Club at Castle Hills, located in the Castle Hills North Dallas custom homes community, exceeds the standards set by most golf courses in Texas and has its own teaching academy. Enormous grass tees across a 510-yard range and three full-length practice holes make the Golf Club at Castle Hills the most comprehensive practice facility in the state.

Chip Stewart and Larry Thomas successfully defended their senior division title at the North Four Ball Championship. With rounds of 69-71, beating out two other teams – Aledo's Jody Vasquez and Fort Worth's John Granger, and Gary and Don Seaman of Dallas – by one stroke.

Casey Weiss and Luke Kane of Austin shot matching 67s to win the open division by five shots over Mansfield's Lewis Stephenson and Arlington's Bob Neal. A five-way tie for third included Castle Hills members David Garrity and Andy Braun.
