BAFL Team Judges to be sponsored by Glasses2you
After recent negotiations, the BAFL are delighted to confirm that the BAFL Team Judges will be sponsored by on-line spectacle retailer, glasses2you (see www.glasses2you.co.uk
Founded by entrepreneurs Ian Allcoat and Russell Andrew, Glasses2you is a company in their second year of trading. In 2008, like the BAFL, glasses2you has seen tremendous growth – it's turnover double in 2008 and further growth is expected during 2009 through e-marketing strategies that will raise brand awareness around the world.
The sponsorship will be ring-fenced and contribute to the costs of training and equipment provided by the BAFL to the Team Judges in return for the placement of their brand on Team Judges bibs and shirts – as well as a weblink from the BAFL site to www.glasses2you.co.uk
Speaking on the sponsorship, Glasses2you Director, Ian Allcoat, commented, “After hearing about the growth of American Football in Great Britain – and specifically, the BAFL Team Judges project – we are delighted to be sponsoring such a trailblazing and ground-breaking initiative that will grow the number of people officiating in sport and support the development of grassroots sport in Great Britain”.
