CCFC supporter lands trial with club

Added: (Mon Sep 21 2009)

A lifelong Coventry City supporter has landed a trial with the club and is hoping to use the opportunity to showcase his talents.
Andrew Mills, 46, has been invited to the club’s Ryton training ground but while the Sky Blues squad are there to polish their football skills, he will be adding some sparkle to their cars.
Premier Club member and real estate expert Andrew set up his car valeting service, Premier Auto Valeting (Detailing) UK, after spotting early signs that the property market was heading towards a downturn.
But while some of the sheen has been taken off the world of property, Andrew insists the future is bright for his new company after national Premier Club manager Tynan Scope invited him to help the CCFC squad clean up their acts.
Andrew said: “I spotted signs that the property market was changing about two years ago and the idea for this came after having a few cars valeted myself and noticing a few areas that I thought could be improved upon.
“I am in contact with a few of the Coventry City players through Facebook and the first sign I got that there could be interest was when I was talking to Ashley Cain.
“I got in contact with Tynan at the Premier Club and he was able to fix up a trial period with the club.
“I was obviously very excited and I hope I can build on this opportunity. The ultimate aim is to have a team of valeters in the city.”
The revolutionary system used by Premier Auto Valeting (Detailing) UK is a waterless technique developed by NASA and used by F1 teams. The lack of harmful chemicals combined with no need for mains electricity at point of use or draining of fluids makes the technique extremely environmentally friendly.
The Premier Club is the networking and corporate hospitality club for Coventry City supporters at the Ricoh Arena.
There are over 1,000 Premier Club members made up of around 400 companies.
Tynan Scope, national Premier Club manager, said: “I admire Andrew’s entrepreneurial adaptability.
“As a football fan, Andrew will appreciate that versatility and hard work are valuable qualities for players but, as he has demonstrated, they are also important in the world of business.
“We at the Premier Club wish him all the best with his latest venture.”
