The other six bend race at 9.10 looks tougher, but while Genesis Dream has been hard to fault for sometime – she has won nine of her last eleven outings – the draw in four with plenty of pace on her outside has limited appeal and I fancy Ballymac Rita to spring a small surprise. A fast CD winner last autumn, she was also runner-up in last year’s Puppy Classic, and looks worth taking a chance with.
Noirs Ted, now eligible for Seniors’ races, can prove too classy in the 8.15, and his trainer can initiate a good night by claiming the bitches’ race at 7.40 with Droopys Oi Oi, who eclipsed her defeat in the Puppy Derby heats by winning at home track Walthamstow last week.
