Betting Update; Everton v Portsmouth with the bookmakers making Everton their 10/11 favourites

Pressbox (Press Release) -
The race for European football heads to Merseyside this Sunday as both Everton & Portsmouth will be chasing that lucrative fourth slot.
David Moyes’ side hold the upper hand at the moment, sitting pretty in fourth with 50 points, but Portsmouth aren’t out of it and could close that gap to three with victory on Sunday.
And its been their away form that’s kept them in with a shout – only Chelsea have won as many away league games as Harry Redknapp’s side this season (8).
They are third in the away league table and have only lost one of their last seven in all competitions – and that was at Old Trafford.
But they travel to Goodison to face a side who only seemingly have any trouble against the ‘big four’. They haven’t lost to a side outside the superpowers since October and their only home league defeats have come against Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United.
The Toffees are fresh off the back of Monday’s 2-0 win at Eastlands and haven’t lost in the league since January 1st – true Champions League form if there ever was any.
With no fresh injury worries, it looks as if the home side may be too strong, especially with 10-goal Yakubu looking to get one over his former side. As a result, William Hill’s 10/11 on Everton can’t be overlooked.
If every game stopped at half-time this season the Merseysiders would in fact be 3rd in the league – and remarkably have only conceded two goals in the first half of Premier League home games this season. This exceptional home record has to be exploited and Ladbrokes go 9/4 Everton Half & Full Time which is worth an investment.
Recommended Bets - 2 points, Everton, 10/11 William Hill
