Adam Wilcox and Ni Amorim, took their first British GT Victory today, in the first of two races on the Silverstone GP circuit.

Starting from 3rd on the grid Adam Wilcox took the start, and managed to work the #62 DRM Ferrari into the race lead after 16 laps, before handing the car over to Ni Amorim who re-joined after the pit stop in 2nd place, and set about catching the DAMAX Ferrari, which he did and quickly got by, then headed home for a 7 second Victory over the Tech9 Porsche.The win moved the DRM Ferrari back into the championship lead.

For race 2 Ni Amorim started the race from Pole Position, and lead the race for 5 laps until rain hit the circuit and Ni slipped down to 3rd place, but due to a safety car was over 1 lap ahead of 4th placed Tech9 Porsche.

Ni pitted on lap 14 and handed the car over to Adam, but again another safety car was to come into play and the DRM Ferrari was held up before Ni could Pit, so Adam rejoined in 3rd place but a long way back from the leading JWR Porsche and DAMAX Ferrari, and the #62 car eventually came home in 3rd place.

" All in all a good weekend we took our first British GT win and are now back in the lead of the championship by 9 points with only 4 races remaining " Commented Adam afterwards.
