Silversea Cruises Highlights For 2012

Silversea Cruises has announced guests who will be sailing on the Silver Spirit voyage of May 24 - sailing from Barcelona to Rome - can look forward to a 70th Grand Prix de Monaco land package.
It is the perfect opportunity for guests to experience a Formula One race at the Monaco Grand Prix during the ship's overnight stay there. Guests will witness the time trials (practice runs for the drivers and their cars). Come evening time, Silversea guests will be invited to a cocktail reception, which will be held by the ship's captain and a former Grand Prix driver. This will then be followed by a dinner of Mediterranean and Monegasque cuisine served in the on board La Terrazza restaurant. Finally, guests will be able to return to see the exhilarating final race. The tour includes escorted transfers – and a gift package too.
Other highlights for 2012 include the Silver Whisper cruise – which will embark on its worldwide journey. Travelling from Fort Lauderdale to Monte Carlo aboard Silver Whisper, the Silver Whisper cruise will last 115 Days – and will visit 45 ports and 25 Countries along the way. Guests who travel aboard the 382-guest Silver Whisper can look forward to visiting fascinating places like the Amazon, Africa, Asia and Arabia – it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with local cultures, history and natural wonders. The Silver Whisper has recently been refurbished too.
