Recipe competition on its second year

Join Marco Polo Hotel's cooking competition and get star chef status

Dubai - On May 30, the cooking fun returns to the Marco Polo Hotel kitchen. Thirty participants will be chosen to cook their unique recipe and the winning dishes will be featured on the new menus of the Chopstix (Guinness world record holder for longest chopsticks) and The Bombay (Time Out awards’ Best Indian Restaurant). Winners will also get Marco Polo Hotel's signature home catering service for up to 50 people and other dining gifts.

This competition is part of the year long achievement of the hotel. The recipe competition started last year when The Bombay restaurant was chosen to be part of DSF’s Guinness world record bid for longest buffet. The dishes of the winners from last year’s competition were also included in the hotel's contribution to the largest buffet.

“Last year our recipe competition got an overwhelming response. This year our restaurants have won two awards, so the categories are best indian dish and best Chinese dimsum," said Sunil Marya, Vice President and GM of Marco Polo Hotel.

Renhil Krishnan, F&B director, promised surprises for the participants and their families. "This is one of our ways of expressing our sincerest gratitude for their continuous support all throughout the year,” Krishnan said.
