Notorious High Security Prisoner Walks Free

Pressbox (Press Release) - During one of his many arrests in China “Brother Yun” , when asked “What is your name?” replied simply, “I am a heavenly man.” He did this in order to protect the identity of other house church leaders, such as himself, and their congregations spread across China. Most of his married life he spent apart from his newly married wife , even missing the birth of his first child. Miraculously, during one of his imprisonments Brother Yun escaped through open prison doors at a maximum security prison. Yet, it is not the lack of prison bars that gives Brother Yun the feeling that he is a free man.

In spite of the many opportunities to be angry and bitter about his many imprisonments for preaching the Gospel Brother Yun explains how and why he can forgive his captors:
“The only way to be able to forgive is to be able to fix your eyes upon Jesus. If you, every day, meditate and think that Jesus was willing, for the sake of our salvation, to be nailed on the cross and die for our sins. When I was in China and the authorities started to persecute me God gave me this secret. It has been so powerful that I am still using the same secret weapon. I remember when, for the first time, they caught me I shouted “Jesus, don’t you see that they’ve captured me?” I heard his voice saying to me “My child, I know.” This word has become my strength and my power to be able to overcome. I know that He knows what is happening in my life.”
