New Cottage Designed for Smaller Lots Has Spacious Feel

Added: (Tue Feb 10 2009)

Pressbox (Press Release) - BRUSLY, Louisiana – Dane D’Armond and his wife, Bonnie, decided to move into his grandparents' home after all their kids were grown since they no longer needed a big house. To make the home more comfortable and efficient, they hired an interior designer to make our ideas a reality. Once completed, they had so many compliments on the home, Dane decided to hire an architect to fine tune the design to give it a broader appeal to those who might be looking for cottage house plans.

The designing architect made sure the Daigle Cottage offers all the amenities characteristic of larger homes in a manageable footprint ideal for smaller lots. The free flowing modern kitchen/dining/living room space combines with plenty of natural light from front and side windows to contribute to an open feel that overflows onto the covered back porch.

The D’Armond’s favorite feature is the efficient use of space and the feel that the house seems more spacious than it really is. “We were able to get a cozy dwelling with all the modern conveniences to give us a modern, easy care lifestyle,” report Dane.

Studieaux Design of Louisiana, LLC exists solely to offer the Daigle Cottage design to those building on a small lot or seeking a cottage style home.
