MCBF Awards For Authors, Publisher, Bookshop, Media, Patron
Coralville, Iowa, April 12, 2004 --- The Mid-Western Christian Book Fair (MCBF) coming up in Iowa City, Iowa on October 1st and 2nd, 2004 will confer awards to deserving Christian authors, publisher, bookshop, media house, and Christian book patron.
“This will help oil the wheels of the multi-faceted Christian book industry, and raise money for charity since part of the proceeds of this fun-filled two-day event will go to charity,” comments Paschal Eze of the Iowa-based Paashan Books, organizers and sponsors of the Mid-Western Christian Book Fair (MCBF) which will bring together Christian authors, publishers, book distributors, literary agents, bookshops, editors, reviewers and all lovers of Christian books from different parts of the US and beyond.
There are eight awards in total and they include the MCBF Christian Author-Friendly Media Award, the MCBF Christian Author-Friendly Bookshop Award, the MCBF Outstanding Christian Book Patron Award, the MCBF Innovative Christian Book Publishing Award, the MCBF Young Christian Author Award, the MCBF Christian Poetry Book Award, the MCBF Christian Children’s Book Award, and the MCBF Best Exhibitor Award.
“The feedback we have received so far is very encouraging and underscores the need to make MCBF an annual event,” explains Rev. Eze, a Christian author and former daily newspaper and monthly magazine editor-in-chief.
