IRVING, TEXAS UNVEILS NEW ONLINE FEATURE
FOR VISITORS TO SEARCH TRAVEL DISCOUNTS




IRVING, TEXAS (October 2009) – The Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau has compiled Irving vacation packages and area travel discounts and made them available on their website at www.irvingtexas.com/Meetings/HotDeals.

Having noticed a spike in online traffic to the CVB’s Hot Deals webpage, the Irving CVB recognized the desire for travelers to the area to get the best rate possible.

“We know the need that travelers to the region have for these types of programs, particularly in our current economic climate,” says Maura Gast, executive director at the Irving CVB. “The Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau has responded to that demand and made it easier for visitors to Irving to find the best deals.”

The newly redesigned and developed Hot Deals feature consists of five main search tools each with various specials and discounts: Hotel Deals & Specials; Air Travel & Ground Transportation; Attractions; Restaurants; and a section specifically for Meeting Professionals. There is also a frequently updated Featured Deal section, which provides a complete vacation package combined from several of the more recent offers listed in the Hot Deals section.
