Grand Festival Cabourg “Another Way of Loving”
The Grand Festival opened with a moving speech by Jacques Schecroun, based around his upbringing at the age of six in Algeria, where civil war was raging. He gave an example of his belief systems at that time of the “Us” and “Them” concept of good and bad based around National Flags. Jacques used the example of being given a toy gun for a present and how based around the teaching and culture at the time he believed the Arabs where the enemy and the French where the good guys.
He expanded the concept by pointing out and using the example of an Arab child and how he would have been taught at an early age the exact opposite that the Arabs where the good guys and the French where the bad. He expanded this further and to other culture showing how Catholics children where set against Protestant children in Northern Ireland. The same scenario being played out in India and Pakistan or Israel and Palestine each family and culture teaching that they are Right and are doing Gods will.
There is an urgent need to expand out belief system about God and about Life and see the bigger picture. Jacques pointed out how these and similar beliefs are destroying the fundamental basis of modern society. The need to find another way of loving each other and respecting other cultures and belief systems so that we can all live in harmony and peace with each other on a level of mutual trust respect.
The master of ceremonies honoured the International Guest representing Humanity’s Team www.humanitysteam.org an organisation founded By Neale Donald Walsch, as a Civil Rights Movement for the Soul, to change belief systems about God and about Life and address this problem directly.
The purpose of Humanity’s Team is to communicate the understanding that humanity’s beliefs create humanity’s behaviours and to implement that we are all one, one with God and one with life, in a shared global state of being, so that the behaviour of humanity may shift to reflect this understanding.
We see a dramatic paradigm shift. When our belief systems shift to reflect the understanding of who we really are, our behaviours will naturally shift also.
Humanity’s Team is organizing at every level, community, country, regionally and globally to educate people about God and about Life.
