Jewelry Designer Meets the Needs of the Victims of Natural Disasters

Saturday, April 1st, 2006, jewelry designer, Dominique Vassallo's collection of, fine handmade jewelry will be featured, at Spa Life on Millburn Ave, in Short Hills, NJ. Spa Life is one of many boutique's that she will tour to showcase her designs. Dominique donates 50% of her wages, from her collections, to meet the critical needs of victims of natural disasters, poverty, sickness and famine.

Since age seven, Dominique has used her gift of creativity to empower her fellowman; receiving letters of acknowledgment from local government officials, the late President Ronald Reagan, the London, New York and Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestras, to name a few. Vassallo considers herself to be a creative communicator; it is from this call Domini Jewelry springs forth. "Some stories never get told. For the ones that do, long after the headlines have faded, there is still great work to be done. Samaritan's purse, the main organization I support is still down in Louisiana, helping to put lives back together. They urgently go where the cries of the suffering call," she says.

She quotes Bono, U2 singer, who stated at a Samaritan's Purse event for the child victims of HIV/AIDS, "People think it's going to take a miracle or an act of God to put this right. I don't believe that. I believe God is waiting for us to act," she adds, "I agree, and my donations from my jewelry collections are just one of the ways I hope to contribute to mankind." says Dominique.

Her style and concepts for design are sui generis, set to claim the hearts of fashion's most elite. Each exquisite piece of the fine jewelry is carefully designed, by hand, using precious stones. These stones are complemented by silver or gold wiring reflecting beauty and wholeness. Each piece has it's own vision... It's own direction... It's own purpose...
