Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago Introduces Casino Host Gina Ramos
EAST CHICAGO, IND. — With its lively and action-packed 56,000-square-foot casino, Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago is excited to welcome its newest Casino Host, Gina Ramos. According to About.com, “One of the most important members of the casino staff you will meet is that Casino Host,” whose job it is to meet and establish relationships with casino patrons to ensure casino loyalty. The casino host also has the ability to give out comps to players, which can vary from free meals and show tickets up to full room and beverage upgrades.
Given Ramos’ high-spirited personality and background in people-oriented professions, she will be a great fit for the job in this East Chicago casino. The requirements of a Casino Host bundled with Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago’s reputation for high-quality guest service and total entertainment experience, require a level of employee service that Gina Ramos is excited to provide.
Prior to becoming the new Casino Host in this East Chicago casino, Gina Ramos enjoyed a successful career as a Wellness/Work Simulation Contractor for Subaru-Isuzu Automotive, she also worked on a Northwestern University medical team which published research in the American Journal of Sports Medicine. After this, she moved on to an engaging 16-year career in orthopedics, fiber-optic construction, and pharmaceutical sales.
Though she has no prior gaming experience, Ramos explains that she is acclimating very well to her new role and describes the transition in the Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago as one that she finds enjoyable. She is eagerly tackling the daily challenges that arise on the casino floor.
