Abuse excuse

Pressbox (Press Release) - Annie,

Some of what you say may be true. The system is a pretty poor excuse for justice. In my experience, which has been almost five years now, there are often allegations that just do not stand up under strict scrutiny. In general, women abuse differently than men. They ostracize and provide other forms of subtle emotional and verbal abuse. The issue is not abuse. EVERYone agrees that when there is PROVEN abuse contact with children needs to be monitored. Unfortunately, the abuse excuse has become a trump card for many women who want the spoils of divorce. It has become an entitlement, which does not correlate to any actual wrong doing by the non-custodial parent. I have come across too many non custodial parents who are victims of a vindictive ex-partner.
