Pressbox (Press Release) - Animals too need cancer care
An e-mail from a Hungarian dog lover seeking advice on an unusual cancer matter from Dr.Sibia set the mind rolling. It was for seeking help to treat cancer in a different species - canines. The Budapest resident wanted help for his pet dog as the chemotherapy advised is known to have severe side effects.
The dog was diagnosed with non-Hodgin lymphoma a kind of cancer and had been advised immediate chemotherapy by the oncology vet. The dog owner wrote to Dr.Sibia after reading of the advantages of the Cytotron treatment in India that could offer a no chemotherapy, no radiotherapy and no surgery solution for tumors by changing the cell membrane potential to stop cancer cell division. Dr.Sibia who established Indias first Cytotron centre in March 2006 after clinical trials of the device at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine, Bangalore has offered all help to the dog.
Previously another dog Silka afflicted with cancer from Europe was treated with Cytotron in Bangalore. Cytotron looks like a MRI scanner and has acquired health regulatory certificates in Europe and not just human being but animals may also be heading towards India for this novel treatment after all they too deserve to live.
