LOCK UP YOUR TEST TUBES - AUSTRALIA’S SLEEKEST GEEKS ARE TOURING ENGLAND

Added: (Wed Aug 14 2002)

Australia’s sleekest geeks Dr Karl Kruszelnicki and Adam Spencer are set to present a rip-roaring extravaganza of science, never before seen in England when they perform at venues across the UK.

Sponsored by the British Council, Dr Karl and Adam will drag you by the ear through their fast-talking, roller-coaster ride of fabulous facts and sensational stories as they coerce comedy into science with sledge-hammer subtlety.

Together, they'll tell you about the Science of Nose-Picking, Belly Button Lint, home accidents in the UK, and Punching Glass - as well as What Really Happens when a Man and a Woman love each other very much in a special way!

Dr Karl was described by the Sunday Times as “Web Radio’s First International Star” and is the scientist behind the groundbreaking research into Belly Button Lint. Adam Spencer is the presenter of a national breakfast radio program on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s youth station, Triple J. He started a PhD in Pure Mathematics (until his media career took over) and is also an accomplished debater.

The Sleek Geeks will take to the stage at the following venues in London and Leicester:
