IFIS Publishing celebrates its 40th year

The International Food Information Service (IFIS Publishing) is celebrating its 40th anniversary this May with the re-launch of FSTA Direct™ - IFIS’ own implementation of the FSTA – Food Science and Technology Abstracts® database. Version 2 offers an enhanced searching experience for users including more flexible handling of search results, email or RSS alerts and the forthcoming option of ATHENS sign in.

The IFIS website front page www.foodsciencecentral.com has also been given a new look for this special year and is now more user friendly with immediate access to product and service information.

Professor Jeremy Selman, IFIS’ Managing Director said ‘We are very pleased to launch FSTA Direct version 2 in our 40th anniversary year and also to welcome our customers, suppliers and business associates to a celebration lunch in the grounds of Lane End House’.
