Annular Solar Eclipse on 7th Feb,2008

One of the First eclipses of year “Annular Solar Eclipse” will occur on 7th February, 2008.

"This eclipse will be visible only in the region covering most of Antarctica, New Zealand, The south-eastern parts of Australia, Vanuatu, Fiji and Western Samoa". - N.Sri Raghunandan Kumar, Founder Secretary, Planetary Society, India

People of India and rest of the world this eclipse is not Visible.

Timings of Eclipse:
Eclipse begins at 7.08 a.m. and ends at 11.41 a.m Indian Standard Time.
The greatest eclipse is at 9.25 a.m. Duration of annular phase of eclipse is 2 minutes and 11 Seconds.
