‘GALLEY SLAVE’ LAUNCHES - A NEW FORTNIGHTLY FREE-SHEET FOR THE LONDON RESTAURANT INDUSTRY
A new, independent title for the London restaurant industry will launch on Wednesday, 21 October. Galley Slave will be a fortnightly free-sheet, and its print-run of 10,000 will be hand-delivered to restaurants across the capital, as well as to ‘drop boxes’ at leading catering colleges and catering trade stores. Subscriptions are available for those who want to guarantee their own copy, and for anyone else interested in keeping up with the restaurant scene.
Galley Slave is being published and edited by Joe Warwick, formerly editor of Restaurant Magazine, who launched The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards and is author of Eat London HG2 guide to London Restaurants. Galley Slave will be a ‘rich and rebellious source of news, gossip, features and fearless fun’ for anyone that cares about London’s restaurant scene and what makes it tick. It also includes an extensive fold-out section of classified advertising, covering everything from job vacancies for chefs, waiting staff and industry services, to second hand kitchen equipment and personal ads.
