Pressbox (Press Release) - ZEE CINEMA FREE TO AIR IN AUGUST

After Zee Music , it’s ZEE CINEMA’S turn .The channel which prides itself with some of the biggest blockbuster’s Bollywood has on offer, will be free to air from the 1ST of August to the 18th of August 2003.

ZEE CINEMA is the only Asian channel to show 6 movies a day which includes, comedies, classics and the latest films from the largest film industry in the world.
By going free to air for 18 days, sky digital viewers who don’t subscribe to the channel will now be able to see what they have been missing. Included in the line up of films in the free viewing period are Om Jai Jagdish, Humraaz, Khuda Gawah, Hathyar, Tumko Na Bhool Paoge and many more.

“We have arguably the biggest Bollywood film library which ranges from Bimal Roy classics to Ramu Gopal Verma’s superhits .These films cater to people of all ages which is why ZEE CINEMA has become the first choice of Bollywood lovers” said Pranab Kapadia, head of programming, ZEE NETWORK, Europe.

Besides 6 films a day, ZEE CINEMA is also the only channel to show a Bollywood news programme 5 days a week which keeps the viewer abreast with news, views and all the happenings on a day to day basis in Bollywood. Viewers can even vote for their favourite film on the website (www.zeetv.co.uk) with the introduction of ‘CLICK THE FLICK ‘-the new interactive feature on ZEE CINEMA.
