Added: (Wed Mar 03 2004)

In a boost to its jingle and station imaging business, indie production company Wise Buddah has been selected to produce the jingle package for the new, eagerly awaited 95.8 Capital FM Breakfast Show, to be fronted by Johnny Vaughan.

The pitch was won by Wise Buddah’s chart-topping writer/producer partnership of Bill Padley and Jeremy Godfrey whose ‘hits’ include Whole Again and The Tide is High (Get the Feeling) for Atomic Kitten and Kiss Kiss by Holly Valance.

“This is an important piece of imaging work for Wise Buddah. We have always been proud of the breadth of work we have been commissioned to deliver across UK and international radio stations – this is probably the most high profile yet,” said Wise Buddah MD Mark Goodier.

In a separate move, Capital Radio and Wise Buddah have joined forces to create what is the first radio show to be mixed and broadcast entirely in 5.1 surround sound.

The project is hosted by Capital DJ James Cannon features commercially available surround tracks mixed with jingles in 5.1 surround.

The project will be broadcast from the Capital FM website (www.capitalfm.com) to users with access to 5.1 surround and an interface to Windows Media 9.
