U.S. Gay Author Fights Christian Extremists!
Belleville, MI August 2, 2007- Author Bradley L. Fowler, debut book Reconciliation with the G.O.A.T….God of all Truth, erupts onto the literary scene with a fierce wrath, questioning the validity of biblical scriptures, stating ‘homosexuality’ is a sin. Not only has this author uncovered shady truth, bible publisher’s are fighting to keep hidden, he reveals how often today’s bible publishers are recreating the scriptures, to fit there own personal opinions.
According to evidence shared in Bradley’s new book, the term ‘homosexuality’ was not written in the original King James Bible. He writes, “It wasn’t until 1980, under the Ronald Regan Administration, was this term added.” Furthermore, Bradley’s research reveals, these changes took place during former President Regan’s political campaign for Governor of California. He points out, it was the Christian based publishing company, Thomas Nelson Publishing, who added the word to its bible in 1980 and changed the verses again in 1996.
Since 383 A.D. the Holy Bible has changed its content more than five hundred times. During the process of change, much of the text has been rewritten to accommodate the opinions of those elected to make changes. But how much of the book can we believe to be truth, and how much should we exclude as being false?
Well, in the New King James Bible, Leviticus 18:22, whose copyright date is 1982, Bradley shares the scripture reading like this: “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. But, in the New Century Bible, copyright date 1996, the scripture reads: “You must not have sexual relations with a man as you would a woman. That is a hateful sin.”
Moreover, Bradley discovered scriptures in Thomas Nelson New King James Bible, opposing such word changes. In Revelations 22:18 & 19 it reads: “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of this book, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book”.
But, in the Thomas Nelson New Century Bible, the scripture reads differently- “I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds anything to these words, God will add to that person the disasters written about in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away that one’s share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are written about in this book.”
Additionally, in 1Corinthians, which is often used in Christian communities to support their opposing of homosexuality, the bible publisher rewrote the scripture to read…neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals…Leviticus 6:9, New King James Bible, copyright date 1982. And in the New Century Bible, copyright 1996, it reads…Those who sin sexually, worship idols, take part in adultery, those who are male prostitutes, or men who have sexual relations with other men… But, if you read the Zondervan King James Bible, copyright date 2000, it reads…neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves…
This blatant misrepresentation of scripture and mass manipulation of its writings has caused grave distress on homosexuals across the globe. The traditional teachings of the Christian church, opposing homosexuality as a sin, should not be tolerated, especially when these terms are based on the opinions of those who are publishing these books. The sad thing about it, much of the homosexual community could care less about these findings.
But, in many states across the country, same sex marriages, civil unions, health benefits, and potential adoptions, have been denied on the basis of biblical scripture, and have held much of America’s citizens hostage by these blatant tactics of false biblical teachings. Still, Bradley’s findings suggest homosexuals in America begin studying the various changes in the bible, as a means of supporting future court claims, which deny favorable judgments for same sex couples, or single gay males, who are challenged by these false biblical representations.
Not only has this author opened a can of worms, but his new findings are sure to cause a wave of disappointment to the Christian community, who foundered itself on these biblical scriptures. However, Bradley points out in II Peter 1:20 that …“no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
Unfortunately for the Christian community, this new found evidence of scripture tampering could put a damper on the religious sector’s approach when denying same sex marriage, or the rights of homosexuals.
