Added: (Thu Oct 29 2009)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Retail Design Specialist, The Attic Room made a successful debut appearance at this years’ POPAI Awards winning three awards recognising their P-O-P work within the beauty and cosmetics industry.

The Attic Room won an award for each of the three categories they entered and were nominated for. All awards won were for the Harajuku Lovers/Gwen Stefani project that was rolled out across department stores throughout the UK earlier this year.

Their success included gold for the Harajuku Lovers Karaoke Booth in the Retail Digital Content, silver for the Harajuku Lovers shelf end in the Hair Products and Fragrances – Men & Women category and silver for the Harajuku Lovers Karaoke Booth in the Innovation category

Tony Best, Managing Director at The Attic Room commented: “This is a fantastic achievement not only for us, but also for Coty Prestige who joined us in receiving the awards. We were thrilled to win an award for each category we entered and the brand and product really deserved the recognition it has gained. It was also great to have so much success the first time we attended the POPAI since we began business four years ago.”

Since the Harajuku Lovers brand was launched earlier in the year, sales for the fragrance have exceeded what was predicted so success has been achieved all around.

POPAI (point of purchase advertising international) recognises work within the P-O-P industry throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Attic Room design, manufacture and install bespoke permanent retail sites, point of purchase, promotional furniture, window displays and events for product launches in the prestigious beauty and cosmetic industry.
