THE 'UK CORNER' PROMOTES BRITISH URBAN MUSICIANS ABROAD VIA EURweb.com. Fiona McKinson's British based column launched May 15, 2007

London based writer Fiona McKinson, in conjunction with U.S. headquartered urban entertainment/culture website EURweb.com (www.EURweb.com http://www.eurweb.com/), has launched "The UK Corner" a new digital platform designed to promote British urban acts in America and Urban-American acts appearing in the UK.

The web space will allow British urban acts to gain exposure in new territories on an American based website as well as in front of an international virtual community. In a regular update, The UK Corner will highlight the best of British urban music and the unique experiences that British fans of American urban acts receive on their own soil.

"We are thrilled to have Fiona associated with EURweb. Her enthusiasm and creativity will benefit our partisans in the US and worldwide," said EURweb founder/publisher Lee Bailey. "At the same time, through her column, British based artists will be exposed to our American and global audience. That to me is a win-win for everybody."

EUR (Electronic Urban Report) provides free factual infotainment on today's hottest celebrities, issues and events in urban/black entertainment and culture via the website and a newsletter. www.EURweb.com receives over 50,000 visitors a day and is ranked as the 3rd most popular web site among African Americans according to Black Data Research and #20 out of the top 100 entertainment web sites.

EUR email Newsletter has a database of 72,000 subscribers, emailed Monday through Friday, which reaches over 1.4 million readers monthly.

The average age of the audience is 25-45. The EUR has already become a beacon and pulse for the online African American community, as depicted in the nationally syndicated cartoon series "The Boondocks". It is the only company to have Internet, print and radio in the urban community.

The UK Corner is available online from May 15 2007 visit http://www.eurweb.com/story/eur33562.cfm
